The information claiming that the “Aviasozlar” market, popularly known as Kadishev Market, along with its trading rows and shops, is being demolished does not correspond to reality

The “Aviasozlar” market continues to operate as usual. The ongoing works do not affect legally operating trading rows and facilities.

The issue concerns the establishment of order in the area adjacent to the market, where unregulated and unauthorized trading has been conducted for a long time.

In this area, some citizens were selling fruits, vegetables, meat products, and offal without proper permits, including in violation of sanitary-epidemiological requirements. The lack of necessary sanitary conditions and quality control posed a threat to food safety.

In addition, unregulated trading obstructed the free movement of pedestrians, interfered with traffic flow, caused congestion, crowds, chaotic parking, and created inconvenience for residents, buyers, and visitors to the market.

The city administration is consistently working to bring the capital’s trade infrastructure in line with modern urban standards. The purpose of these measures is to create comfortable, safe, and well-maintained conditions not only in public spaces but also in market areas.

It should be noted that individuals who were trading in this area are being offered alternative, specially designated and legal trading locations within the market. These places provide more orderly and comfortable conditions for both entrepreneurs and buyers.

The sale of food products must be carried out only in specially designated places where sanitary conditions are met, product quality is controlled, and convenience and safety for buyers are ensured.

Upon completion of the works in this area, landscaping, greening, and the organization of a parking lot for vehicles are planned. This will help reduce chaotic parking, optimize and secure access to the area, create more comfortable conditions for personal transport, and reduce the load on nearby streets.
