The “Uzbekistan 24” TV channel prepared a report on the large-scale works being carried out in Tashkent mahallas within the framework of the “Urgent 40 Days” and the “Month of Improvement and Generosity in the Mahalla”.

📍In Yangihayot District, the areas around multi-storey buildings and social facilities are being improved, internal roads are being put in order, green areas are being expanded, and trees and flowers are being planted. Residents, the district administration, the mahalla seven, utility and other services are actively participating in the hashar (community clean-up) events.

🏢In Uchtepa District, the works cover all 60 mahallas. In particular, in the “Diyorobod” mahalla, where more than 6.8 thousand residents live in 15 multi-storey buildings, yards and green areas are being improved. Children’s playgrounds are being repaired, and assistance is being provided to the elderly, persons with disabilities, and needy families. Based on residents’ appeals, problem areas have been inventoried, and work has begun on repairing existing children’s playgrounds and building new ones. In addition, issues of gas and electricity supply, utility infrastructure, and security are being resolved, and surveillance cameras are being installed.

🏢In Chilanzar District, works are being carried out in 55 mahallas, including “Bog‘zor”, “Oqtepa”, “Qozirabod”, “Katta Qozirabod”, and “Nafosat”. Within the framework of the ongoing activities, 286 problems have been eliminated, and the implementation of 427 previously unfinished projects is continuing. The basements of 119 houses, the roofs of 64 houses, and the entrances of 228 houses have been repaired, more than 730 streets have been put in order, and children’s and sports playgrounds are being modernized.

🧹More than 15 thousand citizens were involved in the hashar events in the district, 740 hectares of territory were improved, and 673 units of special equipment were mobilized. Repair works were carried out on 255 lighting systems, and material assistance was provided to 372 needy citizens.
